NKG LEARNING: New possibilities with our established learning platform

We have great news to share about NKG Learning: after using our platform mainly for NKG Code of Conduct trainings, there will be a lot more courses coming in the new year.

With 1335 active learners worldwide, NKG Learning has been established successfully. Right now, it is going to become even more interesting! “We are very happy that we can introduce further trainings to you”, says Julia Herrling, NKG Learning Program Manager. You will find many new courses covering a great variety of topics on NKG Learning, which are offered in cooperation with the online course provider GoodHabitz. No matter what you would like to work on, your productivity, your organizational skills, the right tone talking to your colleagues, Sustainability or Cultural Diversity – there is the right course for everyone. Just in time for a great start into the new year, we can also choose for example “Keep Your Resolutions ” – so you will be able to really put your plans into practice.

Excursus:

How deep would you like to dive into a topic? It’s up to you. Every course guides you through the topic in four stages, and each of them offers a variety of contents: you choose from videos, case studies, and exercises the subjects most interesting for you. This can be only one per stage or more. According to what you work on, the course can take you anything from 30 minutes to a few hours. Would you like to have a sneak peek into many topics, or do you prefer becoming an expert on one topic? You choose.

What is so special about our new offer: there is a learning time quota for everyone at NKG! Every employee has one hour per month, which can be used for the courses during working time. In consultation with your supervisor, you can integrate these 12 hours a year flexibly into your schedule whenever it fits best regarding your workload. The courses are as flexibly adaptable as the timing: you can pause them at any time and get back to the course whenever possible. In addition, you can not only decide in which depth you would like to jump into a topic, but also how you would like to learn. Do you prefer videos over texts? Or do you like working on topics yourself? You choose what suits you best! To make the courses accessible for as many of employees as possible, they are available in English, German, Spanish and some of them in Portuguese. And no worries – GoodHabitz is already working on the courses not yet available in Portuguese.

Choose your favourite Course topic:

  1. Oh Yes, It’s Stress
For most of us, stress is has a negative connotation. However, the right amount of stress can even help us being more productive. In this training, you will find out more about how it works.
  2. Design Thinking
Would you like to solve complex problems creatively? Learn more in our Design Thinking course.
  3. Online Teamwork
How do you make sure that virtual teamwork is effective and productive? You will find out in our training Online Teamwork.

In the beginning of the new year, the program will start with some selected courses. Other topics will follow soon, so stay tuned. And best of all: you can decide, which courses are going to be offered in January! Choose your favorite course topic you would like to tackle right in the beginning of the year.

We are very much looking forward to your feedback!

Excursus 2:

NKG Learning is part of our Responsible Business Program. The first objective “Promoting responsible conduct within NKG” is concerned with the internal development of every employee. NKG Learning supports goal 1: “Establishing a Learning Culture”. Through this personal and professional growth, we provide a solid basis for a successful future at NKG.

One Response

  1. The experiences and information is wide, but at same time not complex to understand, so anyone can get it, with a bit of effort and dedication. It worth the time spended on it! Congratulations to the team!
