Traditionally, top management of our NKG group companies worldwide meet every couple of years for a few days full of work meetings and social events, usually at our headquarters in Hamburg. After a long period of online meetings, workshops and webinars, it was finally time to meet again in person! Many of our colleagues from all around the globe followed the invitation and came to Hamburg to connect, discuss current topics and plan how to proceed into the future. Amongst many others, this year’s topics were NKG’s status quo and plans in Asia & Oceania, an update on the current situation regarding the coffee markets and the ongoing supply chain struggles as well as digitalization within NKG and of our business. If there was an overarching motto, it was “Agility”.

David M. Neumann is really happy to welcome everyone back in Hamburg: “One of the things we have missed most have been our in-person meetings, this has always been a huge factor in NKG and something that truly set us apart from others – we actually enjoy each other’s company.” It is not only this connection, but also the huge collective know-how and our enthusiasm for the product that are key to our business and success. Together, we at NKG have everything we need to turn the challenges of current times into opportunities, support each other and thus prepare for a successful future.

Almost 18 month after the last one, we also had the pleasure to host another edition of the NKG Roaster Day! Thanks to the Be Together, colleagues from many NKG companies world-wide were present at Coffee Plaza and gave personal insights into different coffee producing countries and markets to customers and other colleagues.

The Be Together and the Roaster Day were a great success, and it was such a pleasure to gather so many people back together in Hamburg!
