How did you first discover your passion for coffee?

Back at my grandmother’s home we used to drink “café de olla”. It was not so common for me to drink coffee as a child. However, I liked it when my abuelita would let me drink “café de olla” during my summer or winter vacations at her ranch.

What makes you laugh a lot?

I have a very simple sense of humor. I like to laugh even alone watching memes to cheer up my mood. However, laughter accompanied by loved ones is even better.

What are you most grateful for in your life?

My family and my resilience.

What would you do if you won one million in the lottery?

Support the development of ventures related to climate change mitigation and adaptation. I love the entrepreneurial spirit.

What would you try if you can only succeed?

I want to go to Japan and take a certification exam in Japanese.

What is the most important thing to do on your bucket list and why?

I have a list of 30 things to do before my 30th birthday next year. I hope I can accomplish them.

What do you think when you notice there is no coffee left before you had your first coffee in the morning?
Which type of coffee drinker are you?
How do you relax best after a busy day at work?

I go for a walk with my dog Lotti.

What is the most beautiful place you have ever been to?

Chiang Mai, Thailand. I would have loved to spend Covid-19 quarantine at the elephant sanctuary.

How do you make your coffee at home (Capsules, pads, filter, bean-to-cup coffee machine)?

As basic as possible. I do it more for the energizing effect. However, I really like “café de olla”, except that it is prepared with piloncillo and that ingredient is not available in Germany.
