Corporate Design Update:
Strengthening the established NKG brand by evolving the Appearance

The pandemic has shown us clearly how important it is to have a sustainable business model and clear values. Therefore, NG Communications has even intensified the renewed efforts to develop and reinforce NKG’s Corporate Identity and Design during these uncertain times as an important step towards a successful future.

In cooperation with the NG Board of Management and an external agency, the NG Communications team began to discuss refreshing and strengthening our values as well as our visual appearance, both internally and externally, more than a year ago. To shape NKG’s identity as a continued visible and strong brand, we have reviewed our existing communication and values as well as the efforts and positioning of our competitors, but came to the result, that we would also like to involve as many of you as possible in this process. Thus, we decided to conduct an internal survey with all employees worldwide in May 2020 and received nearly 750 responses. This extremely strong response proved us that a large part of employees supports the idea of an NKG brand that is not an impersonal construct but represents strong values, with which each of us can identify in our daily work.

The logos of NKG and all group companies were recently updated to gain more flexibility and a better brand visibility across all communication channels.

Besides many other aspects, the results of the survey will be reflected in the future Corporate Identity of NKG, along with our immensely strong past and history. While we are still working on the final brand book with newly defined brand values and guidelines for the overall design implementation, we would like to start now to make the updated Corporate Design visible. The rollout of a logo update for NKG and all group companies we launched just a few weeks ago was the first step, more updates and materials will follow. Please make sure to check our NG Communications page on N’Sider (for all NKG employees only), where you can find all current templates and information on our Corporate Design (colors, fonts, logos).

The concept of the NKG Connected also received an update: the result is this first digital issue of the established print magazine.

Especially since the beginning of the pandemic, digital communication has abruptly become a crucial part of our daily work and will certainly remain as such. At the same time, the world of media in general has become much more diverse and digital over the last years, which is why we believe our communication efforts should stay up to date and cover more different channels and formats. This first digital issue of the NKG Connected aims to “translate” the established print magazine into our new Corporate Design and a new digital format, that can reach everyone of you around the globe – no matter if you work from home or in the office, no matter if you have a desk workplace or a private smartphone or tablet. However, for those of you who miss the print magazine: the second issue of 2021 at the end of the year is planned to be a print one again.

We look forward to your feedback on the new design and format – please take a few minutes to answer the feedback form to the right!
