Group Human Resources has big and exciting news: A new global Human Resources Information System (HRIS) called Workday will be rolled out within NKG. Workday is a state-of-the-art HRIS, that offers great benefits for each individual employee, promises to simplify our HR processes, and increase efficiency and data security at NKG. It will be the first time in the history of NKG that all companies and employees worldwide use the same HRIS. What an exciting step for all of us together!
NKG’s greatest strengths are the diversity of our businesses, our teams and our people. But what is it that makes each team work so well? What motivates them, what are their strengths and what are their challenges? To find out, we asked three colleagues from three very different working environments. Our Three by Three questions are answered this time by NKG colleagues from a farm, an exporting and an importing company.
In 2023, we celebrate a couple of anniversaries in our group. But we are not just celebrating a mere year. Rather, we celebrate the people behind the company names! We celebrate our colleagues, who have been doing a fantastic job for years, and teams that have been an unmissable part of the business and our group for decades. Thank you very much, keep going and Congratulations!
This time we are looking for cities where NKG companies are operating. Who can recognize our locations just by looking at the skyline? Put yourself and your skyline knowledge to the test and tell us, which cities do we see here? There are three answer options per skyline as a little help. At the end of this year it is time for a farewell. Our Group COO Pablo Garcias C. retires after 40 years at NKG! What an accomplishment, what a commitment, and how much NKG history! Since a usual tribute cannot do him and his work justice anyway, we decided to ask a couple of colleagues from around the globe for a few words and wishes on his farewell. We are very honored to be allowed to share their personal words here.
Goodbye, adios, auf Wiedersehen, adeus, au revoir and thank you for everything, Mr. Garcia! Even though we all sincerely wish you a happy retirement, you will be missed!
The Russian war of aggression on Ukraine shocks us on a human level, but of course also has implications for the economy and thus for NKG’s business. These effects hit us both directly and indirectly, and sometimes include unexpected aspects. We asked three colleagues what impacts they perceive from their perspective and, of course, how we as a Group can respond to them best.
When somebody is in need, there is this one person, who will for sure be very kind and helpful: Paula Vasquez Caetano, Director Assistant at NKG Stockler, our new “Integrity Champion”! What makes her the perfect champion and so valuable for the NKG community, especially Stockler? No matter which kind of problem, her colleagues always ask Paula for help, because they know that she will find the right solution. Her constructive, helpful attitude combined with the heartfelt commitment she shows makes her not only a wonderful colleague to work with but also a friend in the daily (work) life.
