Setting up the NKG BLOOM farmer services unit for Ibero Uganda Ltd.; What profession did you want to be when you were a kid? Volcanologist (and I still want to see an erupting volcano); How do you relax best after a busy day at work?
I dance at home with my kids (and drink a glass of wine).
What type of series do you usually watch (Drama, Comedy, SciFi etc.)? A bit of everything (from Narcos to the Queen passing by Lupin).

TradeLens: Solving complex difficulties with a lean platform

Even before the Covid-19 crisis aggravated the existing problems in logistics, NKG Board of Management decided on a remarkable project: the start of the digitization of several steps of the coffee supply chain. With support from ICL (Internationale Commodity Logistik), the implementation of the platform TradeLens has been initiated. TradeLens offers the realization of transparency about where to find the coffee at each moment and enables digital document and data handling.

Small steps towards great progress: Introducing NKG PACE

That inequality between White and Black Americans in the U.S. is still immense has been clearly demonstrated by the incidents and protests of recent months. Unfortunately, the U.S. coffee industry is no exception. The situation cannot be glossed over: Black Americans experience the largest gap in employment and decision-making roles. Neumann Kaffee Gruppe (NKG) has always acted on behalf of producers and those in the coffee supply chain most in need of attention.

Virtual Tour at NKG Stockler: State-of-the-art technologies enable joint cooperation in Brazil’s heart of coffee

In 2020, NKG Stockler moved their head offices from Santos to Varginha, Brazil, the so-called “heart of coffee”. Next to rebuilt warehouse units with latest technologies for production lines and inventory management, a brand-new office area had been completed shortly before the previous NKG Connected issue in December 2020 was published. At the beginning of the year, the team moved into the premises, which had been completed by then.
